Not bad at all, but could be a lot better. Can be bought at a good price during sales.. Real Farm is anything but what the title suggests. It is a game that already has had 'dlc' and yet is full of broken physics,machines that do not work right and very questionable mechanics to advance through the game. The devs are less than supportive and very slow to try and fix any issues if at all.Avoid this game even if you find it in the bargain bin (where it is destined to end up) there is far more frustration here than game.. no go get a hoe and get some seed it would be funner. its a good idea.what i dont like is the bugs, but that can be fixed. also it puts a limit on equipment owned, but i think it has potential to be great. Sim games are hard to make. Simulating real world physics and biological systems require expertise AND experience. For each subject.Add to the complication that this game is entering a sub-genre with 2 already established titles battling for suppremacy. That gives us a little perspective on what we can expect from a new entry.Real Farm IS NOT yet a good game. It DOES have what it takes to be a good game, provided that we can do the work to help them get there. The price is too high right now and the game is closer to early access than Gold release. That's not a complaint against the developer, but rather the publisher who has to keep budgets and release dates balanced. The good news is that the developers are using the sales to fund a rapid support schedule. The beta branch of the game is really cranking out the fixes and improvements. I'm quite optimistic that they will have a real new series contender here. If we are bold and brave as consumers. Nobody will ever make better games in this genre unless we buy the games. The genre needs to be making enough money for developers/publishers to want a piece of it. So buy the games, push developers to improve them and reap the rewards. If you want the farm game of the future, do the work now. What the game does right: It's a lot like Farm Sim 16 if we are being honest. It has good music, decent art assets, the menus work well enough, etc. What it does wrong currently: physics(wacky flipping/flying tractors over the mountains are possible), sound(hooking up tools is silent, no working sounds for many jobs, etc), no licensing(future games likely to have, provided people buy this), weather effects. There is a good game here. If you want to push this game or other farm games to improve faster, there needs to be competition. That means you have to buy them all. Your move farm/sim gamers.. Interesting game, funny simulator. It is my very first agricultural sim, so I bought it without greater expectations. Just found it with mayor dicsount (85% off), so I thought...hey, why not giving a try. Game is localized in the major languages from start, but you could change game language and other aspects of the game in the settings. After checking video, sound and certainly keyboard settings, it's up to the new farmer to decide weather to start a carreer mode or invest your time and money in your very own (simulated) first farm. I've choosen carreer mode, which also offers a little tutorial for the first tasks like plowing and sowing by tractor. After some paid missions, you are pointed toward white boards for new jobs. Some of them do only ask for work, others (higher paid) ask you to bring your owned or hired equipment to do the job. On the map you'll find several stations for jobs, other farms, equipment dealers, motel for recreation, which you could reach with your little starting truck. Graphics is nice, anyhow you should accept it is a new title just starting to grow into business. Agree with some bad reviews about graphic glitches, but would not mind them too much, as it simply needs some polishing by devs or probably better drivers. So far I didn't encounter any major bug, but would like to see some enhancement of the engine/system like car horns on tractors aso. Some interaction with trees or fences seems a bit clunky too, but it's acceptable on this early stage for me. Multiplayer is announced later, so far I didn't miss it. Other titles like farming simulater seem to offer it. Would be fun to explore this feater later with some friends. Real Farm is nice, working without bad habits, but would need some more development. Devs seem to take care about patches and future enhancements. Also response on game forum is fast and helpful. Can't join the 'negative' reviews...probably because I do not own other simulators of this genre.Major plus over competitors from my view is Linux support.. needs allot of work,it lags, not everything works, its a terrible game and i want my refund. Where should I start on a review:well items needed to complete missions are un-obtainable, Missions are assigned to either half complete, deserted or previously cleared fields making them impossible to complete. To top it off vehicles get stuck to objects requiring a reset back to the "store", normally on the other side of the map.I saw the bad reviews, but there was a few ok / good ones; so I was expecting at least a simi-functionable game and gave it a shot... DON'T DO that!! Do not buy this game in its current state... Its a shame as it was looking to be a good time sink :(. I was pleasantly surprised by this really fun game. Gameplay is great and relaxing (although I must admit I struggled a bit with the harvester), graphics are more than fine, music is entirely fitting., in other words: the whole atmosphere is totally enjoyable (though the town could indeed do with some more NPCs). If the devs decide to add some zombie-DLC .... I'll probably become a total addict ;-)
