I need to Warn everyone before i say to much.This game is Very early access! . it realy need alot before it even are possible to play for real . It is more testing right now and help the developer with feedback.you cant even run around for 5 min before you run out of food(now fixed). It is almost impossible to turn around when you close to run out of food . When you finaly find a banan or coconuts on the ground . You cant eat it because you cant press "y" because it stand as gamepad option (now fixed).This game need alot of fixed and features , maybe some rework in grafic . But I always wanted to play a game where you are a animal trying surviving in a real simulator . Right now you can walk though trees and lot of the layout on the ground , there are not much sound in the game , the way the gorilla move and how smooth it feel is realy bad . it realy need alot of work before it would feel fun to play. But this idea for a game like this is so awesome . The idea that play a animal simulator from a perspective of a gorilla . i love that . The game is cheap , Everyone have a chance to give feedback to the developer to help with errors and feature in the future . I hope eveyone would look on this game with open eyes and maybe try give the developer a chance . Most of the things i pointed out in my first negative review , The developer fixed most of it in less than 24 hours.. A couple things that i'd like to see worked on is turning left to right, it is very slow and almost frustrating when in the all 4 position, and maybe, and the sounds and soundtrack, these are all minimal things, and also maybe like an opening of what happened to your troop of gorillas and where to start looking for them.The Idea of surviving as a gorilla is awesome, but this is very early access so if you're not willing to give feedback for the devs to work with i wouldnt buy it just yet.. Update live: More improvements to the vegetation and AI. We are just waiting for a few more small fixes to the AI damage and quest mechanics. Rolled back last update yesterday: The first AI/social interactions update was posted last night but I had to take it down temporarilybecause of a compatibility issue with the package. I am working on the patch now and hope to get that update out today or as soon as the issue is addressed.Andy. New Update Live 25/04/18: Lots of features added under the hood for the female gorilla. She now has lots of possible interactions depending on status. They're three females nearby for testing. You can find them and change them from wild to troop member with interactions. The can be given food and made nests for.The features are not all hooked up for example you can easily get them in the troop by repeating the interaction, this will not be the case in the game. Even full troop member cannot have offspring at this time. These new features will be tested and fully integrated then we will move on to creating offspring.After this the troop will be moved away and the game structure will be finalised as you are separated from your troop at the start of each game.. Rain Update: Fixed the excessive rain. The tropical climate still leads to regular rainfall but the weather system should now change daily.. New Update 07/04/18: We've just pushed our latest update. As mentioned in the roadmap our first tentative steps with troop interactions. Female gorillas have new animations and audio to let you know what they require. More info to come on this. You can also affect their bonding level with one interaction (much more to come).The Male Gorilla will also show aggression towards you if you hurt them. Please bear in mind fight mode is very early in development and is only really there for testing purposes currently and changing AI behaviour as some of it is linked to AI health.EDIT:- We also changed the turn speed of the player as referenced by one of the user reviews. Update fix for bamboo roll 17/04/18: Hi, thanks for the report on the bamboo rolling away. This should now be fixed making it much easier to make nests for the gorilla. You will also see information displayed on the female gorilla showing her needs. This is part of a bigger update that should be live today or tomorrow. This interface along with audio and animation cues from the AI gorillas will help the player understand what the troop need to increase bonding. High bonding is vital to keep the troop together and allow it to grow with mating.Regards,Andy. Terrain Update: A new update is live which improves CPU performance. This is the first of several terrain updates that will move usuage from the CPU to the GPU. This should be especially helpful for AMD based rigs but everyone should benefit.I noticed a few reports of slow movement which will be related to FPS, this should really help. I am going to open a couple of disussion threads so any reports can be placed there and if you could add you machine details that will be really helpful in targeting any issues.ThanksAndy. Final Testing of procedural terrain: Hello all,Sorry for the quiet week we have been having issues getting the procedural terrain to work correctly. We are very close now and should release the new system this weekend. We are just testing other features have not been broken by the new system but we now have a procedural world which is almost infinite in size.We will then refocus on filling the world with AI animals and the gorilla troop/infant system.After that we should have an announcement on the small price rise before we transition out of early access.. New update live 21/10/2018: Latest version is live as we move towards initial full release. We have fixed the black and white lighting glitch after finally being able to replicate it.Improvements to the terrain and rendering means we are now hitting 60fps average on our mid-range test PC (i7 4790k CPU, 660ti GPU). (1080p). More improvements will be made soon.The quest system is in and producing procedural quests from female gorillas. This is the first version and will be added to in the next update.As mentioned before as an extra bonus and thank you for your support all Early Access owners will be eligible to receive the first episode of our next game free of charge.
